There are a few options open to you when thinking about personalising a usb flash drive. Depending on the complexity of your company logo we can use spot colour printing. This simply means a single colour in one position and up to 4 colours. So if your company branding has a simple logo with 1-4 colours this is the best option for your flash drive. If you corporate branding has a more complex logo, maybe with mixed colours or photo imagery used we would normally use full colour print. This is slightly more expensive then spot colour but means we can reproduce nearly any colour under the sun to go on your printed usb. We can also create engraved promotional usbs. This method works particular well on metal customised usb, but can be used on many of our range of usbs.

Although we have our standard colours of memory sticks, we can custom Pantone match the usb, or trim to any colour you desire. So if you companies logo imagery contains colours that must be used to strict corporate guidelines we can match the colour of the personalised flash drive to most colour charts.
A flash drive contains a printed circuit board with a NAND flash memory chip, which carries a small electronic current to the USB connector that plugs into another device with a female USB connection, such as a PC, laptop, TV or Camera. Back in 2000 when the first usb memory sticks started appearing they were initially called usb thumb drives, and many people also referred to them as usb pens or usb keys; mainly due to their size and perfect size to fit on a keychain or pocket. The first models came in 8MB memory size, modest by today's standards, but still five times larger than the ailing, but still common floppy disk. As technology progressed the size available in personalised usb flash drives grew steadily; usually doubling in usb memory capacity each time, as does most technology, this is known as 'Moore's law'. Today the sizes we supply are 64mb, 128mb, 51mb, 1gb, 2gb, 4gb, 8gb and 16gb. However in our bespoke usb drives we can create storage capacity up to 32gb and 64gb. In the mid 2000's the faster USB 2.0 format came out, offering much improved memory transfer speeds and all the promotional usb memory sticks we supply use this current format, supported by all modern appliances. USB 3.0 is now on the horizon, and once computer manufacturers start using this as the standard we will also be supplying USB 3.0 custom flash drives.
In this day in age its pretty obvious the advantages of using usb sticks over other storage formats. The floppy disk and its associated spin off formats quickly got buried in the technology graveyard due to its tiny memory capacity. With all that considered its no surprise printed flash drives have become the main choice to transfer files easily from one platform to another or to back up data such as holiday photos, movies, mp3 collections, study materials, work files etc.
